At CC Wood and Craft we use the LintCNC LT1325 CNC Router and a carbide surfacing bit with four replaceable blades. The LT1325 is a heavily constructed machine, that when combined with our surfacing bit, provides a smooth finish that is easily sanded to your desired smoothness.
We can flatten a large wood surface such as a cutting board, a slab of wood, or dimensional lumber. The largest surface area, without repositioning the piece, is 51 inches by 98 inches. While the width is a fixed dimension, the length can be extended through repositioning. Additionally, the LT1325 can be used to engrave a large surface for signage, to include lettering and texturing the surface. Material can be sourced by the customer or CC Wood and Craft. The $90.00 price is based on $45.00 per hour with a two hour minimum.
